By chance or coincidence of the calendar? It doesn’t matter!
The Director-General of the CED, Professor François Bédard, will be staying in Cameroon at the end of this January, more precisely from January 25th to February 1st.
His first trip of the year and his presence are justified, among other things, by the continuation of the preparatory phase of the Learning Mission on Tourism and Local Development. The MATDEL-CANADA 2023, organized by the agency Universal Business and Tour (UBT) and supported by the CED, benefits from institutional support from MINTOUL. This mission, aimed at municipal executives and other stakeholders in the tourism value chain in Cameroon, which is gradually entering decentralization, will see the participation of around fifty participants in the city of Lac-Mégantic in Quebec, Canada. As the Central Africa Director of the CEEAC CED, it is an immense privilege to welcome its Director-General, who will depart from Minnesota, USA, to join the Delegation from the Mégantic Region for this final preparatory phase of the participants here in Douala. So many good things on the horizon for Cameroonian localities at the beginning of this year.
We will keep you informed
